What you will do

• Define and execute the local technology strategy in accordance with business objectives and regulatory mandates.
• Oversee engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and tech operations to ensure high reliability and security.
• Manage the technology relationship with the Group to align on platform services, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Implement operational resilience frameworks, including disaster recovery and business continuity testing.
• Ensure strict compliance with the Canadian banking regulatory environment, specifically OSFI requirements.
• Partner with risk and compliance teams to manage internal controls, technology risk, and vendor performance.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Canada.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in technology functions within financial services or highly regulated industries.
• Proven expertise in IT architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational resilience.
• Solid understanding of the Canadian banking regulatory environment and OSFI requirements.
• Background in technology governance, risk management, and regulatory oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
