What you will do
- Lead independent end-to-end research for a significant product area, turning ambiguity into clear research plans and delivering actionable insights.
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to align on research goals and timelines.
- Build scalable AI-native research practices and workflows to accelerate insight delivery while maintaining rigor.
- Conduct strong qualitative studies and translate findings into clear themes and frameworks.
- Bring quantitative grounding by designing surveys, analyzing product usage data, and triangulating insights.
- Synthesize multiple evidence sources into clear, decision-ready narratives tailored to diverse audiences.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in British Columbia or Ontario, Canada
- Graduate degree or relevant experience with 5+ years in user/product/UX research or related fields.
- Proven ability to lead mixed-methods research that directly informs product and design decisions.
- Strong qualitative research portfolio with demonstrated impact.
- Quantitative skills including survey design, data analysis, and working with product/business metrics.
- Experience collaborating with Data/Analytics teams and elevating research practices.
Nice to have
- Experience researching B2B SaaS products and complex workflows.
- Ability to independently query data using SQL or equivalent.
