What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Implement data transformation and storage strategies for efficient retrieval and analysis.
• Collaborate with software developers to optimize data aggregation and application data flow.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations and policies.
• Optimize query performance and build APIs for data ingestion and integration.
• Develop and maintain event-driven architectures for real-time data processing.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Location: Fort Bragg, NC, USA (Hybrid Remote).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Golang, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end experience with React.
• Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL, event-based databases, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience building microservice APIs using Golang/Python frameworks (Gin, Echo, FastAPI).
• Designing and maintaining database schemas and configurations.
• Experience with data provenance, lineage, retention, and management solutions.
• Working knowledge of streaming and batch data processing frameworks.
