Salary: $165,000 - $190,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for observability and evaluation workflows.
• Collaborate on architectural decisions to ensure performance and maintainability.
• Optimize storage and query performance for high-volume data.
• Ensure system reliability through testing, monitoring, and alerting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Must be located in or near San Francisco, New York, or Boston with hybrid options for remote candidates within certain distance
• 2+ years of backend engineering experience with Python or Go.
• Strong API design and backend service optimization skills.
• Experience with Postgres, Redis, Clickhouse, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
