Salary: $130,000 - $280,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Define and execute the engineering tooling roadmap focused on Bazel and C++ infrastructure
• Own Kubernetes deployment and development tooling
• Build software and hardware testing frameworks
• Provide technical support to engineering teams across the company
• Contribute to team growth and development

Requirements

• Must be located onsite in San Mateo, CA, United States
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar roles with strong expertise in C/C++ build systems and Bazel
• Proven experience with large-scale Bazel monorepos, custom rules, and toolchains
• Deep understanding of C/C++ compilation, linking, and dependency management
• Experience with build system migration and modernization
• Knowledge of Bazel remote execution and caching strategies

Nice to have

• Experience with bzlmod and cross-platform C/C++ builds (Linux, macOS, Windows)
• Background in build system performance optimization and incremental compilation
• Firmware development and deployment experience
