What you will do

• Develop and improve place and route infrastructure for the Virtuoso platform.
• Apply advanced math, graph theory, and machine learning techniques to solve routing problems.
• Integrate LLM APIs and work with vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Collaborate in a fast-paced research and development environment.
• Perform rapid prototyping in open-source AI/ML projects.
• Debug and analyze complex software issues.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Jose or Pittsburgh, United States
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and LLM.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, SciKit.
• Basic understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation and vector databases.
• Preferred knowledge of analog circuits design, layout, and VLSI design flow.
