Account Executive (Pr/Investor Relations)

TL;DR

Account Executive (PR/Investor Relations): Developing and executing public relations programs for financial and non-financial clients with an accent on earned media relations and day-to-day activities on key accounts. Focus on prospecting new sales leads, building compelling story narratives, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, IL (3 days per week on N. Halsted)

Salary: $75K-$96K plus commission variable.

What you will do

• Prospect for new sales leads for assigned business services, following the sales process.
• Qualify new business prospects and outline the opportunities and benefits of working with hirify.global.
• Pitch press releases and feature ideas to top-tier media to secure placement for clients.
• Write, edit, and proofread communications content for internal and external channels.
• Monitor press coverage daily and report results to the team and clients.
• Establish and improve business relationships with clients to increase revenue and exceed expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in national, regional, or state sales, including extensive prospecting.
• Experience in the public relations, media, social monitoring, or platform industry.
