What you will do

• Develop, implement, and oversee sustainable policies and strategies for hirify.global’s supply management organization.
• Lead creation of targets and programs supported with execution across Global Supply Management, New Product Development, and Operations.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance against sustainability criteria.
• Analyze and recommend more sustainable purchasing alternatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure sustainable purchasing is included in their strategies and action plans.
• Function as the key sustainability resource for Global Supply Management, guiding teams in meeting environmental objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles and compliance, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of personal integrity and business ethics.

Nice to have

• Experience in sustainable sourcing, sustainable materials, or working on Scope 3 emissions impacts.
• Experience working in the furniture or related consumer goods industry.
