Salary: $18 — $20 USD per hour

What you will do

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with sustainable procedures across facility kitchens and fulfillment areas.
  • Classify, weigh, and manage food waste for donations, composting, or internal reuse.
  • Perform daily and monthly sustainability audits to detect contamination and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate waste pick-ups and donations with partner non-profit organizations.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to staff to establish and maintain sustainable behavior standards.
  • Collaborate with cleaning and operations teams to maintain green stations and waste diversion supplies.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Chicago, Illinois, United States
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to strictly follow instructions and sustainability protocols.
