Finance Controller (Fintech)

TL;DR

Finance Controller (Fintech): Responsible for statutory and US GAAP accounting for 21 countries and 26 entities in EMEA, including oversight of activities performed by the Shared Services organization with an accent on statutory reporting, filing, compliance with internal control and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Focus on variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement to identify potential errors and work with other Controllers to forecast cash requirements and entity profitability.

Salary: zł 139,755 - zł 232,925

What you will do

• Review trial balances and financial reports to determine if any corrections are required.
• Perform variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement to identify potential errors.
• Review and approve balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Review accounting compliance with intercompany contracts, tax, and social security expenses.
• Review and prepare audit documentation in coordination with the Financial Shared Service Center.
• Work closely with other Controllers to forecast cash requirements and entity profitability.

Requirements

• Higher Professional Economics/Accounting education or a university degree (Bachelor/Masters).
• 3+ years of accounting/controllership experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Experience working with accounting systems, preferably Oracle Financials, OneStream, and MicroStrategy.
• Open to working an 18-month Fixed Term Contract.
