Senior Technical Program Manager

TL;DR

Senior Technical Program Manager (Program Management): Drive compliance programs within the Security organization, managing complex cross-functional projects addressing compliance, privacy, and technical security challenges with an accent on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) and technical fluency. Focus on leading end-to-end program execution, aligning multiple stakeholders, and ensuring delivery of high-priority security initiatives.

Location: New York City, hybrid with 2 days per week onsite

Salary: $105,500 - $170,200 USD

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex compliance and security programs partnering with Security leadership and Legal teams.
• Create clear plans covering scope, milestones, roles, risk mitigation, and delivery tracking.
• Bridge communication gaps across Security, Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams.
• Track project status and report updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
• Drive alignment and influence outcomes across multiple departments without direct authority.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in New York City area with hybrid work (2 days onsite)
• 4+ years experience in technical program management or similar roles managing engineering-driven projects.
• Expertise in GRC and audit for PCI, SOC 2, SOX compliance with full audit lifecycle management.
• Technical security fluency to translate legal and security mandates (GDPR, CCPA) into actionable engineering tasks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational influence and results-oriented mindset with high autonomy.
