Senior Data Scientist

What you will do

• Lead design, architecture, and deployment of ML and data science solutions from prototyping to production-ready MLOps pipelines.
• Develop and optimize algorithms for rankings, recommendations, conversion, and dynamic pricing.
• Apply large language models (LLMs) for entity extraction, content generation, and operational automation.
• Design and analyze online experiments (A/B tests) using rigorous statistical methods; knowledge of causal inference is a plus.
• Partner strategically with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business challenges into data-driven roadmaps.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain high standards for code and deliverables.

Requirements

• Must live in the Netherlands and be available for hybrid work.
• 5+ years experience in Data Science and ML with production model deployment in tech scale-ups.
• Strong expertise in machine learning fundamentals and advanced topics like reinforcement learning or graph neural networks is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, PyData stack, and modern data engineering tools; experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Experience with LLMs and GenAI including prompt engineering, RAG, and evaluation strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
