What you will do

• Develop digital payloads for innovative satellite constellations.
• Design and implement signal processing and communication systems for space applications.
• Integrate and design beamforming antennas and their control systems (DRA).
• Develop and optimize onboard processors for digital signal processing with high data rates.
• Perform FPGA design for high-performance signal processing applications.
• Conduct complex link budget calculations and create unit, payload, and test specifications.

Requirements

• Degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in satellite communications, antenna technology (beamforming), and HF/SHF technology.
• Proficiency in MATLAB for simulation and signal processing.
• Experience with system analysis tools such as STK (Systems Tool Kit) and Satsoft.
• Familiarity with communication standards including DVB-S2, 5G, and European Waveform.
• Basic knowledge of the German language is desirable.
