What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud and infrastructure services.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure environments and cloud resources.
• Ensure system availability, reliability, and security through monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Respond to and resolve major incidents and technical issues, performing root cause analysis.
• Develop automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions to streamline operations.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to colleagues and Service Desk teams.

Requirements

• Must be commutable to Sunderland head office in the United Kingdom.
• 3+ years experience in Cloud or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• ITIL awareness.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, and security platforms.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications.
• Experience with cloud automation and scripting.
• Experience supporting complex infrastructure environments.
