Sr Software Engineer - Customer Experience Intelligence (CXI)

Location: Mountain View, California or San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $164,200–$225,700 USD annually, plus potential performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Architect the technical vision, core infrastructure, and backend architecture for an enterprise agentic framework.
• Build a modular, multi-tenant agent platform initially focused on customer support and designed to expand into IT, Security, Compliance, Marketing, HR, Legal, and other ticket-based workflows.
• Design state-machine and agentic workflows that progress from human validation to automated execution.
• Develop reliable backend systems with strong quality, safety, throughput, and performance standards.
• Implement tracing, logging, transparency, safe execution, and rollback mechanisms for AI-driven business decisions.
• Coordinate with CXI, Product, Platform Engineering, and business stakeholders while mentoring engineers and subject matter experts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale automation tooling, distributed systems, APIs, and production-grade automation.
• Extensive full-stack software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with ML-assisted systems, decision support, or agentic automation.
• Strong familiarity with distributed data platforms, developer tooling, large-scale infrastructure, and multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Understanding of enterprise compliance, data privacy, and security constraints.
