Account Executive (Public Sector): Drive growth by acquiring new customers in the public sector through strategic, consultative SaaS sales with an accent on complex sales cycles, stakeholder management, and data-driven sales processes. Focus on executing MEDDPICC qualification, multithreading sales cycles, and delivering impactful online product demos.

Location: Remote, work from anywhere

Salary: $200,000 - $350,000 per year (OTE, including base and commissions)

What you will do

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the public sector enterprise and mid-market segments.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to consistently meet quotas.
  • Execute verticalized ABM strategies and collaborate with SDR and marketing teams to improve lead quality and outreach.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle including discovery, demos, negotiations, and deal closures using MEDDPICC methodologies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and maintain accurate CRM data in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Remote work: fully remote with global availability
  • 5-10 years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in public sector sales.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with technical articulation.
  • Experience with sales tools such as Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in MEDDPICC qualification and buyer-centric sales processes.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI-driven sales enablement or intent data tools.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of quota attainment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organizational skills.
