What you will do

• Define and own the multi-year product vision and roadmap for API platforms and connectivity services, aligned with company strategy and market trends.
• Design API specifications, authentication, rate limiting, and lifecycle management (versioning, deprecation).
• Drive developer experience excellence by creating portals, SDKs, interactive docs, sandboxes, and self-service onboarding.
• Define platform integration patterns and ecosystem integrations that enable seamless connectivity across internal and external systems.
• Partner with engineering to build scalable, observable API infrastructure.
• Establish KPIs (API uptime, usage growth, developer NPS, error rates) and conduct developer research to identify pain points and opportunities.

Requirements

• 10-15 years in product management, with 5+ years owning API platforms, developer platforms, or integrations in SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software.
• Deep understanding of API design and systems.
• Proven track record launching and scaling APIs: high adoption, low latency, and secure ecosystems in production environments.
• Experience with API lifecycle management, versioning strategies, and backward compatibility.
• Technical fluency in API standards, protocols, auth/security, and observability tools.
• Strong analytical skills to model adoption metrics, performance tradeoffs, and business impact from integrations.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations via APIs or developer tools for LLMs/agents.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
