Location: Remote, with an ideal location in Tokyo, Japan

Compensation: 14m - 18.5m JPY OTE

What you will do

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Own the technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Effectively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide product feedback.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
• Work with the team to enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, and create enablement material.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space.
• Demonstrate strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership in complex assignments.
• Possess first-class written and oral communication skills for internal and worldwide customer collaboration.
• Ability to skillfully articulate Grafana's value proposition and technical advantages.
• Love solving technical challenges and thrive on bringing creative solutions to customers.
• Maintain a technical mindset and a desire for continuous technical growth.

Nice to have

• Experience with sales methodologies like MEDD(P)ICC.
