TL;DR

What you will do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, focusing on SaaS and procurement contracts.
  • Advise cross-functional teams on regulatory, compliance, and legal aspects of product launches and licensing.
  • Manage intellectual property, data privacy, and technology licensing issues.
  • Identify business risks in contracts and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Provide strategic legal support to business development and department leadership.
  • Manage outside counsel and handle corporate housekeeping tasks.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school and active, good-standing bar admission.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (no visa support available).
  • 5+ years of legal practice, including significant in-house tech experience.
  • Proven ability to negotiate custom commercial deals with regulated entities or energy providers.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills suitable for a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for business purposes.
