Salary: $120,000 - $192,000

What you will do

• Participate in the design and development of novel validation techniques and algorithms for the ESX operating system.
• Implement advanced test strategy and coverage for ESX vmkernel and userspace features.
• Architect, design, implement, and deliver test coverage for new products based on the enterprise-class VCF virtualization platform.
• Take on opportunities to own parts of ESX Core Platform validation projects.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of relevant industry experience OR MS degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Good understanding of kernel-level memory scheduling, memory management, and memory reclamation.
• Broad understanding of OS virtualization solutions, particularly experience with hypervisors such as ESXi.
• Strong understanding of kernel-level OS architectures such as Linux, Unix, Solaris, BSD-like systems, embedded real-time Operating Systems.
• Extensive test and automation development experience and expertise for low level OS components.
• Excellent analytical, debugging and Python and C programming skills.
