Salary: $78,750 - $115,500

What you will do

• Develop and execute test plans for audio amplifier subsystems like gain structure, DSP, limiters, EQ, and routing.
• Perform audio measurements using tools like Audio Precision and NI under real-world and stress conditions.
• Evaluate metrics including THD+N, frequency response, SNR, latency, and dynamic range.
• Design automated test frameworks for firmware, DSP, and system validation.
• Maintain lab equipment like oscilloscopes, analyzers, and power supplies.
• Document defects and collaborate with firmware, software, electrical, and mechanical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years manual hardware testing experience.
• High-level electrical engineering test skills with measurement equipment.
• Work closely with design engineers on lab tests.
• Team player able to meet deadlines in global matrix organization.
• Willing to work in office in Richardson, TX and pass background/drug screen.

Nice to have

• Scripting in Python, C, Java, C++, Labview, Teststand.
• Experience in consumer/professional audio/video.
• High power electronics and high-speed digital hardware testing.
• Hardware test automation tools.
• Audio Precision and protocols like Dante, AES67.
