Location: Hybrid role based in the UK, requiring 2 to 4 days per week on-site with clients throughout the UK. Remote work is possible from anywhere within the UK when not on client sites.

What you will do

• Manage the delivery of multiple, complex programmes for Defence clients, covering strategy, R&D, and bespoke product builds.
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with departmental strategic objectives.
• Develop and own compelling, mission-focused proposals to grow the Defence and National Security portfolio.
• Mentor and develop team members, aligning their growth with critical and sensitive work.
• Advise clients on AI strategy and technical implementation, engaging in complex technical discussions with senior leaders.
• Form strong, trusted relationships with senior military and civilian customers and industry partners.

Requirements

• Proven background as an experienced Senior Manager in managing complex, large-scale transformation programmes.
• Significant experience in the Defence sector (Armed Forces, Government, academia, or industry roles).
• Track record of shipping digital products and expertise in deploying AI-enabled services within a Government or Defence context.
• Deep interest in AI and ML concepts and their application to national security challenges.
• Technical understanding to engage confidently with senior stakeholders on engineering concepts.
• Understanding of the commercial consulting delivery model with a focus on account growth and value creation.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) is required.
