Location: This role is only available in Seattle, Washington, USA. Employees are required to be in-office at least three days a week. Relocation assistance is not offered.

Salary: $119,000.00–$166,500.00

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable services and applications, including system design, API design, and data modeling.
• Write clean, reliable, and well-tested code, applying sound engineering principles and design patterns.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features and services from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term improvements in reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, contributing technical expertise to product discovery and decision-making.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve outcomes and apply AI/ML concepts to real-world products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing system components, including APIs, low-level design, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Java/Kotlin, GraphQL preferred) with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, debugging, and testing.
• Experience contributing to the operational lifecycle of services (monitoring, alerting, deployment pipelines, and incident handling).

Nice to have

• Full-stack engineer with proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Java/Kotlin, and GraphQL.
• Experience maintaining and operating at least four software projects or products in production.
• Experience selecting technologies to solve business problems and understanding trade-offs.
• Experience creating APIs consumed across teams or business units.
• Experience with AI-enabled software development workflows.
