Salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain fullstack features across Node.js backend services, React interfaces, REST APIs, data models, and user workflows.
• Build and scale cloud-native payment orchestration capabilities that process high transaction volumes across multiple brands.
• Design technical specifications, assess operational feasibility, and integrate production-ready payment systems.
• Improve quality through testing, verification plans, deployment guardrails, documentation, and observability.
• Participate in deployment planning, on-call rotations, and incident response for the payments platform.
• Use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining software quality, security, and PCI compliance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience and a Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent background.
• Strong Node.js experience delivering production backend services and React experience building frontends consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices, working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and applying separation of concerns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or a comparable cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines, Git, agile delivery, and testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, including a clear understanding of their appropriate use.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with payment orchestration, tokenization, acquirer integrations, or PCI-compliant environments.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures such as SQS, EventBridge, or Kafka.
• Experience with observability tools such as SigNoz, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform.
