Location: Hybrid (Arlington, VA, USA). In-office expectation of at least 50% of the time monthly.

Salary: $144,000 – $180,000

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable full-stack solutions for complex borrowing product problems using React, GraphQL, and Java/Kotlin.
• Participate in technical design and grooming for the next generation of lending services.
• Develop and launch new financial offerings while scaling existing live systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to translate requirements into high-quality software solutions.
• Maintain overall product quality and craftsmanship across the full stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience building and operating systems end-to-end.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/React and a backend language (Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Go, or Python).
• Experience with distributed large-scale systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Must be based in or able to work from the Arlington, VA hub.
• Ability to integrate AI tools into your workflow for authoring agents and drafting technical specs.

• Experience in FinTech, lending, or payments.
