What you will do

• Lead and mentor an engineering team to deliver high-quality software with strong engineering practices.
• Drive agile execution and data-informed decision-making for product delivery and long-term roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve hirify.global’ AI offerings into robust, customer-ready services.
• Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs, building observability and incident management processes.
• Recruit top engineers and foster a culture of technical curiosity and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer in backend, cloud, or distributed systems.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role, leading product-focused engineering teams.
• Strong background in software design and architecture for scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or similar backend programming languages.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger).
• Ability to define and track operational metrics for continuous improvement in reliability and quality.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native services (Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo CD).
• Experience productionizing AI/ML systems, including model-serving or AI-driven features.
• Experience with building and orchestrating AI agents using modern agent frameworks (LangGraph).
• Experience with hirify.global and its ecosystem.
• Contributions to open-source projects in distributed systems, data infrastructure, or AI tooling.
