TL;DR

Senior Business Development Representative (Cybersecurity): Driving revenue growth by acting as the frontline catalyst in named and target accounts with an accent on deep research, strategic outreach, relationship building, and consultative discovery. Focus on building high-quality opportunities and pipelines for Account Directors and mastering Threat Intelligence to engage confidently with executive-level stakeholders.

Location: Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia, with full legal rights to work in Australia and must be able to attend the office at least 2 days a week.

What you will do

  • Identify, research, and engage C-suite and VP-level prospects across target accounts.
  • Execute multi-channel outbound sequences (phone, email, LinkedIn, video) to create new sales opportunities and achieve monthly targets.
  • Collaborate with Account Directors to build deep account intelligence, including organization charts, technology stacks, pain points, and buying committees.
  • Follow up on inbound leads and marketing-generated leads from events and webinars.
  • Lead first-call discovery calls to uncover pain points, demonstrate value, and secure next steps meetings.
  • Learn and apply hirify.global’s proven sales methodologies and processes, ensuring data accuracy and quality in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of successful outbound BDR / SDR experience, preferably in cybersecurity or technical SaaS products, within the ANZ enterprise space.
  • Proven record of surpassing pipeline or quota goals in enterprise or government segments.
  • Ability to engage confidently with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Desire to pursue technology sales as a career path.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne only, with full legal rights to work in Australia.
  • Ability to attend the office at least 2 days a week in Sydney / Melbourne as a minimum.
