Location: This is a full-time role based in Berlin. Candidates must be comfortable balancing hands-on work with strategic oversight in a hybrid, collaborative environment. Freedom to work from abroad for up to 90 days worldwide is offered as a perk.

What you will do

• Lead and scale hirify.global’s legal strategy, operations, and processes globally.
• Advise the Founder, COO, and management on strategic and operational decisions.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to negotiate and manage SaaS contracts.
• Oversee commercial law, corporate governance, data privacy (GDPR), IP, employment, and international expansion.
• Design efficient legal processes to enable growth, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing legal team and manage external counsel.

Requirements

• 15+ years of post-qualification legal experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or tech scale-ups with global operations.
• Qualified to practice law in Europe (German or UK qualification preferred, other EU or US jurisdictions welcome).
• Deep experience with commercial contracting, data protection (GDPR), corporate governance, and international expansion.
• Proven success leading and developing a legal team in a high-growth environment.
• Strong business acumen combined with excellent legal judgment.
• Fluent in English; German language fluency is a plus.
