What you will do
- Perform quality control, translation, trans-creation, and post-editing tasks (EN > FRCA).
- Manage project-related queries and prepare/maintain language materials (glossaries, Style Guides, work instructions).
- Interact with clients on linguistic matters as required.
- Develop and train new and existing freelancers according to account and company needs.
- Ensure good interaction among team members and resolve terminology and language matters.
- Participate in the development of new and improved working processes and achieve team goals.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in French Canadian (written and spoken) and fluent in English (written and spoken).
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the translation and localization industry.
- Thorough understanding of the localization process.
- Excellent user experience with standard CAT tools and ability to learn new localization tools quickly.
- Knowledge of terminology in IT consumer products, social media, and entertainment subject matters.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and in a virtual team.
Nice to have
- Experience as a translator in Mobile Apps, Search Engines, IT Consumer Products, Entertainment, Marketing, Software UI, or Websites.
