What you will do

  • Lead the Publishing Communications team and define internal/external communication strategy.
  • Execute and evolve governance, strategy processes, and communication formats.
  • Develop a coherent narrative for Publishing, ensuring consistent tone of voice and messaging.
  • Lead transformation, organizational change, and crisis communications.
  • Act as a trusted communications advisor to local CEOs and senior leaders.
  • Own and execute internal communications plans, creating high-quality content across multiple formats.

Requirements

  • Extensive international leadership experience in large matrix organizations.
  • Proven ability to use communication strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Exceptional expertise in corporate positioning and reputation management.
  • Profound business acumen with deep understanding of the media industry.
  • Many years of transformation communication experience, including organizational changes.
  • Highly developed ability to operate and communicate at top leadership level.
  • Cultural acumen: Profound understanding of both Germany and the UK is indispensable.
  • Thorough understanding of print and digital media agendas and social media.
  • Language: Business fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
