What you will do

• Drive the narrative framework and European communications strategies for hirify.global Defence to align with business development priorities.
• Lead the international earned media strategy, managing journalist relationships to build long-term brand credibility.
• Oversee the editorial strategy and production of high-impact content, including thought leadership articles and executive commentary.
• Line manage a distributed team of Communications Managers and PR consultants across the UK, USA, and Germany.
• Develop regional communications strategies for major exhibitions, conferences, and events.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on high-profile opportunities and sensitive crisis communications.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in communications, journalism, public relations, or government communications.
• Proven track record of building media relationships and securing high-profile coverage.
• Experience in line management of communications professionals within complex, international environments.
• Exceptional writing skills and strong editorial judgment across multiple formats.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• Ability to pass a BPSS check or additional security clearances.

Nice to have

• Experience in defence, government, or security sectors.
• Familiarity with military audiences and defence technology.
