What you will do

• Engage in state-of-the-art and innovative research in areas such as Speech Generation, Gen AI, model compression, and knowledge distillation.
• Train custom Speech Generation and Gen AI models that beat the state-of-the-art and pave the path for developing production models.
• Collaborate with engineers to design and implement solutions for science problems.
• Contribute to the Amazon and broader research communities by producing publications.

Requirements

• PhD, or a Master's degree and experience in CS, CE, ML or a related field.
• Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or a related language.
• Experience in building machine learning models for business application.
• Knowledge of standard speech and machine learning techniques.
• Experience in building speech recognition, machine translation, and natural language processing systems.

• Experience in designing experiments and statistical analysis of results.
