What you will do

• Collaborate with clients from early-stage ideation through to planning for production.
• Drive technical discussions and implementations to generate new business and expand existing accounts.
• Qualify prospect and customer use cases, discover technical requirements, and lead demonstrations.
• Advise customers on technical best practices, product implementation, and strategic guidance on internet security and performance.
• Contribute to a body-of-knowledge across key domains of networking, cybersecurity, and edge computing.
• Travel 20-30% for meetings with prospects or customers, industry events, and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Experience building or contributing to web applications in a meaningful way.
• Polished communication and executive presentation skills with ability to drive a discussion with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with engineers and senior executives in large and strategic accounts.
• Experience managing technical sales within large accounts, including driving technical wins and assisting with technical validation.
• Deep understanding of internet security technologies (DDoS, Firewalls, TLS, VPN, DLP), networking technologies (TCP, UDP, DNS, IPv4 + IPv6, BGP routing, GRE, SD-WAN, MPLS, Global Traffic Management), and HTTP technologies (reverse proxy, WAF, CDN, serverless).
• Understanding of Zero-trust network access (ZTNA & SASE) concepts, identity management, and authentication.
• Experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Some scripting or programming experience with one or more of JavaScript, Python, Golang, or BASH.
• Understanding of, or experience with, regulatory requirements such as FedRAMP, GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC-2, ISO/IEC.

Nice to have

• Graduate-level degrees in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
• Relevant industry Certifications and Terraform experience.
• Exposure to emerging technical landscape trends such as machine learning, GenAI, DevOps, and security operations.
