What you will do

• Lead and scale a growing team of engineers, owning development practices and standards.
• Drive technical architecture, engineering design, and critical decisions for the product.
• Understand, prioritize, and deliver the feature roadmap while managing technical debt.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, developers, and QA.
• Continuously improve team productivity through investments in technology, process, and continuous delivery.
• Own the careers of team members by providing feedback and managing annual reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a high-performing engineering team.
• Minimum 6 years of object-oriented software development experience as an individual contributor.
• Experience developing software in a commercial software product environment.
• Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies as needed (polyglot).
• Experience building large-scale performance services and leading teams that built software products for scale.
• Clear and confident spoken and written communication.
