Project Manager

TL;DR

Project Manager (Aerospace/Defence): Building and integrating digital training technologies into an existing training school with an accent on project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Focus on interpreting customer needs to develop effective training solutions for air mission training.

Location: Hybrid working approach, based in Homebush, NSW, or Melbourne. Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Manage projects for the development of training products, including technical devices and courseware.
• Manage a blended workforce, including contractors and consultants.
• Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle from initiation through closure.
• Actively manage project risks and mitigation planning.
• Interact with customers to interpret and react to their needs and expectations to develop effective training solutions.

Requirements

• Strong project management experience, ideally in Aerospace/Defence.
• Experience in working with Training and Development teams and delivering training products.
• PMP Certification or equivalent.
• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Instructional Design and Training Development.
