What you will do

• Lead and manage complex maritime projects, overseeing cost, margin, schedule, and scope.
• Direct and delegate tasks to the project management team to achieve corporate outcomes.
• Develop and monitor project plans, estimates, and cost accounts to meet contract objectives.
• Assess project-related risks and lead status presentations at Steering Committee and Customer reviews.
• Manage contract variations and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in science, engineering, or a business discipline.
• Proven experience in leading systems development projects and understanding their lifecycle.
• Australian citizenship is mandatory to obtain the required NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
• Expertise in project scheduling, planning, and best practice project management.
• Experience with Cost Schedule System Reporting (CSSR) or related Earned Value Management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Nice to have

• Australian Institute of Project Management CPPD accreditation or similar.
