What you will do

• Lead negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements across EMEA, including SaaS, enterprise, reseller, channel partner, strategic partnership, and vendor agreements.
• Partner closely with GTM leadership to support complex enterprise deals and accelerate deal cycles while balancing risk appropriately.
• Advise on regional regulatory matters, including data protection (GDPR), AI-related regulations, and technology and consumer laws.
• Collaborate with Security and Product teams on customer-facing terms, DPAs, security addenda, and compliance commitments.
• Develop and implement scalable contracting processes, playbooks, templates, and approval workflows.
• Provide practical, business-oriented guidance to cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in at least one EMEA jurisdiction (UK or EU preferred), with active membership in good standing.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience, including time at a leading law firm and/or in-house at a high-growth technology company.
• Significant experience negotiating complex SaaS and technology agreements, particularly with enterprise customers.
• Deep familiarity with GDPR and related European data protection frameworks; experience advising on cross-border data transfers is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape impacting AI, software, and developer tools is a plus.
• Ability to operate independently in a high-growth, low-structure environment and build processes from the ground up.
