Controllership Senior Specialist (Cash Management)

Location: This position is based in Bogota, Colombia and requires hybrid work 2-3 times per week.

What you will do

• Operate Back Office activities, focusing on the local operation of a “Compañía de Financiamiento”.
• Ensure compliance and settlement of market transactions through Banco de la República's SEBRA (CUD and DCV) and other commercial bank portals.
• Manage bank funding to keep operating without risks, including CUD and commercial banks, and manage bank accounts.
• Create controls over bank activities.
• Upload and analyze short-term cash flow, ensuring it is updated daily.
• Manage SAP movements regarding bank movements and conciliations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, economics, accounting, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of experience leading back office or financial operations in banks, regulated entities, or fintechs.
• Fluent in Spanish and English to keep connected with teams of treasury, back office, and others in different geos.
• Experience managing financial operations such as interbank loans, overnight operations, simultaneous operations, management of securities, coupons, and maturities, using financial applications and core banking.
• Experience in tools of the local market as: Sebra, DCV, Deceval , ACH y Cenit.
• Experience in foreign operations and Colombian exchange rate regime, managing capitalizations, loans, or any operation in FX.

Nice to have

• Regulatory Reports review or preparation for the Financial Superintendency.
• Proven experience in ERP SAP.
