What you will do

• Conduct KYC and KYB reviews for new and existing customers, performing identity verification and enhanced due diligence (EDD) where required.
• Investigate flagged transactions and suspicious activity alerts, including reviewing sanctions, PEP, and adverse media hits.
• Manage and prioritize compliance queues during Americas business hours, ensuring timely processing and structured end-of-shift handovers.
• Support cross-border and cross-regional investigations in collaboration with global compliance colleagues.
• Identify inefficiencies in compliance workflows and propose improvements to SOPs.
• Partner with product, operations, and risk teams to enhance compliance controls.

Requirements

• Background in AML, Financial Crime (FinCrime), and/or financial services.
• Experience conducting KYC, EDD, and transaction monitoring reviews.
• Hands-on experience with sanctions and screening tools (e.g., World-Check, ComplyAdvantage).
• Familiarity with risk-based frameworks and regulatory expectations.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Fluent English required for excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working independently during regional coverage hours (Americas timezone).

Nice to have

• Prior experience in fintech or digital financial services.
• Experience working in FinCrime operations environments.
