What you will do

• Define and execute multi-year strategies to scale security monitoring and detection capabilities.
• Build and optimize infrastructure for security monitoring, automated incident response, and investigation tools.
• Directly participate in incident response operations, triage, and threat investigation.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor high-caliber security engineers.
• Drive cross-organizational collaboration to ensure product and system security.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline engineering workflows while maintaining high standards for code quality and security.

Requirements

• 8+ years of security experience (or equivalent advanced degrees).
• 1+ year of experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Expertise in at least one area: digital forensics, malware analysis, incident management, or threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
• Advanced knowledge of OS internals (macOS, Windows, Linux) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity (4+ days in-office) in Los Angeles or Palo Alto.

• Practical experience with BeyondCorp security models.
• Demonstrated knowledge in threat hunting and automated logic development.
