What you will do
- Design and execute a comprehensive customer reference strategy aligned with revenue, sales, and marketing goals.
- Build segmented reference pools and a robust, searchable library of customer success stories and materials.
- Leverage AI technologies to identify potential advocates, automate reference matching, and streamline content creation.
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to capture customer feedback and insights.
- Foster a thriving customer advocacy community through peer-to-peer learning and exclusive networking opportunities.
- Analyze program data to identify gaps in reference coverage, optimize performance, and experiment with new evidence collection.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience in customer marketing, reference programs, or customer advocacy in B2B SaaS.
- Proven track record of managing customer reference programs that measurably accelerate sales cycles and influence pipeline.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to partner effectively across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
- Data-driven mindset with strong project management capabilities to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) with a talent for storytelling and creating compelling customer narratives.
- Familiarity with sales enablement tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred.
- Experience in fintech, treasury management, financial services software, or enterprise SaaS is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience using customer advocacy platforms (e.g., UserEvidence, Influitive, CustomerGlu, Gainsight).
- Background in SaaS companies with complex, enterprise sales cycles.
- Experience creating compelling customer content (case studies, testimonials, video stories, ROI calculators).
- Understanding of customer journey mapping, touchpoint optimization, and voice-of-customer methodologies.
- Track record of building programs from early stages to maturity and scale.
