TL;DR

Business Development Executive (UK Market): Selling media products and evangelizing the business to potential partners in the travel & tourism sector with an accent on managing ongoing partner relationships, identifying upsell opportunities, and maintaining CRM records. Focus on contributing to the growth of HolidayPirates in the UK by sourcing new business targets and working cross-functionally with internal departments.

Location: Must be resident in the UK for tax purposes

Salary: 31,000 - 35,000 £ per year

What you will do

  • Scour the UK Travel Industry independently to look for new business targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline.
  • Pitch HolidayPirates products to target partners to acquire new business revenue.
  • Develop relationships with partners to aid business retention and capitalize on upsell opportunities.
  • Produce regular advertising performance reports and present these reports to external partners.
  • Work closely with internal departments, e.g., editorial team, marketing department, and finance department.

Requirements

  • Target-driven individual.
  • Minimum 2+ years sales experience within the UK travel & tourism sector or a related sector.
  • A networker with excellent people and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills, specifically the ability to interpret performance data.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Google Analytics preferred.

Nice to have

  • Contacts within the UK Travel Industry.
  • Media sales experience, including experience of selling different commercial models (Fixed, CPC, CPA, Revenue share).
  • Experience within a flash sales focused or similar media organisation.
  • Knowledge of social media, particularly Meta and TikTok.
