What you will do

• Develop, train, and optimize AI and machine learning models for a wide range of business applications.
• Design and implement statistical models and data-driven solutions to improve processes and decision-making.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for AI workloads, including model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Work with large datasets; collecting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data.
• Develop advanced AI solutions such as computer vision, speech recognition, transformer-based models, embeddings, or neural networks.
• Collaborate closely with Development and IT to ensure scalable and production-ready AI systems.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills (preferably Python) and experience in AI/ML development.
• Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning algorithms, and data science concepts.
• Proficiency with tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or NumPy.
• Hands-on experience in training, fine-tuning, and evaluating models.
• Confidence in handling large datasets and building reproducible ML pipelines.
• Communicate confidently in English and/or German.
• A degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a comparable field; or equivalent practical expertise.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM architectures, embeddings, and transformer models.
• Experience with model deployment, containerization, and infrastructure management (MLOps).
• Ability to independently drive full AI projects from concept to production.
• Basic knowledge of full-stack web technologies and infrastructure.
