TL;DR

IT Customer Support Specialist: Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for cloud computing platforms and resolving user issues with an accent on Linux/Windows systems and IaaS model. Focus on active participation in IT projects and technical testing of new solutions.

Location: Hybrid, with at least 2 days per week in our Warsaw office, Poland

hirify.global builds and operates cloud computing platforms that support Europe’s space industry, scientists and climate researchers.

What you will do

  • Handle 1st and 2nd line technical support requests from customers via electronic channels.
  • Resolve issues reported by users of our cloud computing environment, specifically IaaS solutions.
  • Create and update technical documentation and prepare instructions and procedures for employees.
  • Maintain regular communication with users and perform customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Actively participate in IT projects, including internal initiatives.
  • Conduct technical tests of new solutions in a client-mirroring environment.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with Linux and Windows systems.
  • A problem-solving mindset and a strong focus on supporting users/customers.
  • Strong communication skills in Polish and English.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, with at least 2 days per week in our Warsaw office.

Nice to have

  • Experience administering Linux, Windows, and macOS systems.
  • Experience working in a technical support team.
  • Knowledge of IT security solutions and basic understanding of cloud solutions.
  • Communicative knowledge of German and/or French.
  • Experience administering Azure AD / Office 365 and Atlassian Jira.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, Ansible, Docker.
