Location: Must be based in the United States (Austin, TX; San Jose, CA; or Seattle, WA)

Salary: $224,000 – $358,500 (Austin/Seattle range)

What you will do

• Identify and frame high-impact traveler and partner problems solvable by AI into testable product bets.
• Prototype end-to-end AI experiences using LLMs, prompt design, and retrieval tools to validate value.
• Partner with engineering, data science, and design to transition successful prototypes into production.
• Define and promote reusable patterns, guardrails, and quality bars for AI features across the organization.
• Establish experimentation plans and success metrics to guide iteration and performance improvements.
• Drive alignment and communicate effectively with senior leadership on technical product strategies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management for consumer or platform products.
• Proven track record of building and launching technically complex AI/ML systems.
• Hands-on ability to build prototypes using LLM APIs/SDKs and Python or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of system design, data flows, and technical tradeoffs.
• Proficiency in defining and tracking success metrics, A/B testing, and system reliability.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping LLM-powered features like conversational agents, RAG, or copilots.
• Background in software engineering, data science, or machine learning.
• Knowledge of trustworthy AI principles including bias, safety, and failure-mode analysis.
