TL;DR

Solutions Account Manager (EdTech): Managing and growing a portfolio of institutional customers and developing new business in academic and research management environments with an accent on consultative, solution-based selling in complex public-sector environments. Location: Hybrid, based in the UK. This is a Europe-wide role requiring travel across Europe to support customer relationships and regional growth.

What you will do

  • Manage the full commercial lifecycle for Interfolio solutions, including new business development, renewals, and account expansion.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with universities and research organisations as a trusted commercial partner.
  • Employ a consultative, value-based sales approach to understand customer needs and position Interfolio solutions.
  • Work closely with Solution Engineers and cross-functional teams to support solution demonstrations, proposals, and complex sales cycles.
  • Navigate public-sector and higher-education procurement processes, including multi-stakeholder decision environments.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting using CRM tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in enterprise SaaS sales or solutions account management.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex, workflow-based software solutions in structured or regulated environments.
  • Strong consultative selling and stakeholder-management skills, with comfort engaging senior decision-makers.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in international or matrixed organisations.
  • Understanding of subscription-based SaaS models, including renewals and expansion.
  • Ability to work across multiple European markets, with willingness to travel as required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
