TL;DR

Performance Manager (Marketing): Supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and best-in-class service for Amazon's new Satellite broadband offering, with an accent on media planning, campaign management, and financial oversight. Focus on interrogating historic performance data to optimize ROI, developing and implementing measurement frameworks, and utilizing cutting-edge tools to track campaign performance.

Location: Hybrid in London, United Kingdom. Office attendance is required around four days a week. Candidates must be UK based and have the right to work in this location.

What you will do

  • Understand media channels and industry planning tools, and train team members.
  • Own campaign activity, including briefing teams, managing client deliverables, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Ensure excellent and timely financial management processes.
  • Act as a trusted day-to-day contact for junior clients and mentor a Planning Executive.
  • Contribute to innovation by exploring new technologies and approaches, utilizing WPP Open.
  • Develop macro strategy, interrogate historic performance data, and implement measurement frameworks.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of media channels, industry media planning tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in an agency environment, ideally having worked from Executive upwards.
  • Strong detail-orientation and experience managing multiple agencies and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Planning and execution experience of key ROI digital media, including CTV, video, display, search, social, and affiliates.
  • Technology experience maximizing digital capabilities (dynamic creative, re-targeting, DMP/DSP, ad server, UTM, site analytics understanding).
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Experience in building reports and using data visualization programs such as PowerBI.
  • Experience with e-commerce marketing and B2C marketing.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of Amazon's various business lines and target audiences.
