Data Strategy Manager: Leading data-led audience and bidding strategy for a major telco client, focused on transforming marketing through innovative data orchestration and technology. Focus on driving growth through digital media acceleration projects, cross-functional collaboration on data products, and championing data strategy testing.

Location: London, United Kingdom. This is a UK based role and requires individuals to have the right to work in this location. Teams are in the office around four days a week (hybrid).

What you will do

  • Lead data-led audience and bidding strategy for paid media campaigns, providing test and strategy recommendations.
  • Manage the Audience Pack, ensuring it is the authoritative source for campaign audience utilization.
  • Drive digital media acceleration projects, acting as a key stakeholder.
  • Support the integration of client data into WPP's proprietary tools for various use-cases.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and deliver technology-driven growth opportunities.
  • Champion data strategies testing, establishing methodologies and creating client-facing case studies.

Requirements

  • Deep interest in Media & Technology, with an understanding of data products and trends in the advertising industry.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Agency-side experience in a data-led role (Data & Tech, Planning, or Activation) with a strong focus on audience-based buying and data management.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of privacy-first media principles.
