What you will do

  • Act as a subject matter expert for payroll processes in various countries.
  • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across different departments (Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, Engineers).
  • Process full end-to-end payroll, including statutory filing, exceptions, approvals, and compliance.
  • Ensure full data integrity and quality in all payroll operations.
  • Focus on achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Implement and improve processes, mentor, and support other payroll specialists, and back up regional managers.

Requirements

  • Writes and speaks fluent English.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, either in-house or with a payroll service provider.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Proficient in using software tools such as Excel and Google Suite.
  • Possess an analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment and work largely asynchronously.

  • Experience working hirify.globally.
  • Experience with AFAS payroll software.
