What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Apex New Zealand’s software systems, including writing software to solve business problems.
• Contribute to refinement sessions and maintain software development standards.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the system.
• Promote best practice software development standards.
• Contribute to the testing framework to deliver quality software and improve the codebase.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• Strong experience with .Net Ecosystem (Framework and Core), C#, Entity Framework, and SQL.
• Proficiency in problem-solving for technical issues.
• Familiarity with iterative development practices like Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of frameworks, software development methodologies, and approaches.

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend technologies like jQuery, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, React, Tailwind, or Design Systems (e.g., Storybook).
• Familiarity with Dapper, Liquibase, or other database migration tools.
• Experience with Azure Ecosystem, YAML CI/CD Pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Knowledge of testing tools like Playwright, Gherkin, or Cucumber.
• Investment or Financial industry experience.
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of N-Tier and Clean Architectures (Onion / Hexagonal).
